Consciousness Tools

There are consciousness tools anyone can use to support a sense of inner peace and harmony.

  1. Proper breathing.
  2. A willness to seek self knowledge.
  3. A willingness to accept responsibility for one’s actions.
  4. Keeping a calm environment.
  5. Questioning one’s self.

Deep regular breathing is mandatory for maintaining a calm mind. Shallow breathing limits our ability to process information adequately and limits the ability of the body to function at its best.

A calm mind demands a calm environment this can be created by simply turning off the TV or radio. Challenging to do at first silence rapidly becomes a pleasure. Be very selective about the TV and movies to be watched. Violence and brutality do not feed the mind in a positive way. Loud or violent music is equally destructive, if music is desired better to have soft and gentle music or silence.

Ask yourself questions about what you can do in the moment. Ask if you have ever been in s similar situation and review the results of your past actions…..see if there was anything you would have like to change? Questions are valuable!
